CyclingDataManager is
to be seized an
application around data from cycling computer to, analyzes, works on
and
in differently formats to secure. With further cycling computer tools
like bikeXperience, from
this a powerful
Toolkit for the administration of the cycle tours extensive
statistics, capacity rating and training planning becomes.
It
consists
up to now the possibility routes of the CicloSport® cycling
computer HAC4Pro, HAC4, CM414M and CM436M directly over the serial
(COM) interface or routes from a HAC4Pro, HAC4, CM414M or CM436M of importing raw
data file (dat).
The
loaded
routes can become saved in different formats. At the moment become the
DAT -, CSV -, Tur, HTML (only in TourEdit
mode) and the
CyclingDataManager own CDM format supported.
Into
future
versions also of the implementation from interfaces to
cycling
computer of the polar series are thought. Also a native USB
supporting is to come, if the cycling computers support this
(e.g. HAC5)..
During
the
first use of CyclingDataManager the user should define under File/Settings/Options...
his personal data and his "tools".
Program
call/boundary conditions
If You start the
application
with the parameter -en,
the user interface will come up in englisch.
With the parameter -local, -metal
and -aqua
will be set the look & feel of the user interface.
The program is in JAVA
written and thus at least under the
following operating systems executably
Windows
95/98/XP/2000/NT4.0
Linux,
Solaris,
HP-UX
Mac OS
Prerequisite is
the Java runtime envirement starting
from version 1.4. (fre download at javasoft.com).
Is recommended: JRE 1.4.2_10
The application is not a
commercila product. The use takes place
on in genes danger. For damage and errors we do not take over adhesion
or a guarantee.
Further details for
installation
are to be
found here.

XC: 2.3er nail tires for
Crosscountry ... in each case at the

Mountainbike/Speed and
Mountainbike/XC can be put on as
equipment with different rolling resistance and air resistance.
The power calculation can compute the correct power values per route
then.
With reports and filters, the application (speed or XC) is not
differentiated however.

The season golas for

specified for compatibility with bikeXperience. However yet in
the CyclingDataManager are not evaluated.
For the elevator profle in
the TourEdit

(pulse, speed, gradientand power) and the pertinent colors can be
defined.
File/Settings/Program...
Cycling computer
Here could be
the cycling computers to the direct import
adjusted.
(at the moment the HAC4Pro, HAC4,
CM414M and CM436M from CicloSport®).
Communication interface
Here could be the
available interface of the target system
selected.
Proxy
Here a proxy server
can be specified, if the application is behind a firewall. Actual not
used in the CyclingDataManager. It's for compatibility
with bikeXperience.
Activity
Here could be the
activities specified. These activities can be
assigned to a equipment.
Diagram alternative colors
Here could be the default
colors specified.
These are taken as default for the differnt threshold values.
See also "threshold value dialogue".
Paths setup
With the directory
dialogue could be specified the data
dictionary.
With the checkbox "Create
subdirectory for each year",
the exported or saved tours will be
stored into a separate yearly subdirectory.
With the checkbox
"Cretae logfile" will be the processed tours documented.
File/Open file...
From the following file formats / data bases tours can be imported at
time:
CicloSport®
HACtronic tour file (.tur)
CicloSport® HAC4Pro, HAC4,
CM414M and CM436M raw file
(.dat)..
With the selection
of profile data (all except .dat) several files can
be
selected at one time. These are read in then in the "batch"
mode.
File/Synchronize
CicloSport® CC...
BY a serial port (e.g.. COM, /dev/term/ oder
/dev/tty) tours can be read directly from CicloSport® HAC4Pro, HAC4,
CM414M or CM436M computer.
At problems with the serial communication the read buffer can saved
after pushed of the cancel button. This could be helpfully for a
probelm analysis.
File/Save tours...
Under this menu option the loaded tours can be exported. Either all
loaded or only selected tours can become secured. This menu option can
be called also over the right mouse button in the list of the tours.
In the list of the tours the possibility exists of
editing he
tour name, the
equipment and the training area per tour. These new data are included
then in the CDM and TUR format. Extend possibilities for the treatment
exists over the TourEdit
mode.
At
the moment
the DAT- (only for direct readed raw data), CSV-,
TUR- and the CyclingDataManager own CDM format
will supported.
As special feature when desired also the not used storage location in
the cycling computer with secured becomes, so that if necessary after a
crash of the cycling computer a part of the data to become secured to
be able.
If the CyclingDataManager were called by application bikeXperience,
additionally the selected tours can be handed over to bikeXperience
directly.
Show Logpanel
Under this menu option the log window is indicated. Program outputs and
errors can be dispatched thereby to the Author by Copy & paste
(Ctrl-C).
Look
and Feel
Under this menu option the "Look
and Feel" can be switched between the installed.
TourEdit
mode
The
TourEdit mode called by
selection a tour line in the list of the tours by Enter button or by
doubleclick with the mouse.
In
principle it applies that all
are blue deposit ducks of fields alterable.
The
representation of the tour is
arranged in four tabs:
Head data of the tour such
as tour info, Biker and characteristic
values of the route
Table data (e.g. time,
distance, pulse...) of the tour with marks
Statistic data (pulse,
speed, upward gradient and power) of the
tour as cake diagram
Elevator profile with pulse,
pulse zone and marks
A changed route can
over the menu option "File - > Save tours..." become secured.
The
formats CSV, TUR, HTML and the CyclingDataManager are to own CDM format
at the disposal.
With
the HTML format is provided a
complete tour documentation with statistics and elevator profile. This
documentation can be linked to a tour entry bikeXperience application.
If
a tour were changed, the changes
can to the prominent program (CyclingDataManager or bikeXperinece) with
the menu option "File - > Carry over tour to xxx"
become
handed over.
Over
the menu option "File - >
Open file..." can a new profile file be opened. It is to be decided
whether the loaded tour are replaced or the read profile file to be
added is.
When
adding the option can be
selected "relatively" or "absolutely". During releativen adding the
data records become simply adjacent without consideration of the date.
When absolute adding the date and the time of the new route are
considered.
Table
change
In
the table individual fields can
be changed.
On
the one hand it is to be defined
possible the height for one point of way again. The application asks
then, which adjacent points of way are to be adapted.
On
the other hand a mark can be set
for each point of way and a description be added. Markings during the
recording are indicated likewise with a default value.
Further it is to be adapted possible over the context menu the target
altimeter. This makes sense only if the target altimeter of the
tour admits as reference value is (e.g. if the starting point and
end point of the tour is identical).
The
optima in each column are
deposited "golden". The pulse is dyed after the limit values, which are
deposited in the TUR or CDM file for the Bike.
Statistics
change
The
threshold values and colors for
the different statistics can be stopped over the menu option "File -
> Settings -> Options..." and then "Limits...".
Diagrams
The
elevator profile can separate
in the representational forms (with/without pulse and/or pulse zone,
with/without marks, comparison route) to be printed and as PNG picture
exported.
With
the print job it is important
to adjust the printer to landscape format. When exporting the diagram
to file this happens into the last export dictionary.
